Hot for Kindle

Now it is not often that I see an electronic device that makes my mouth water and gets me thinking of all the glorious possibilities. I actually don't like the thought of audio books (I've been reading for myself since I was three thank you) or for that matter reading off of screens. I actually do love the feel of holding a book in my hand and turning the pages for myself but I must confess that I saw the Kindle 2 and fell immediately in lust. I really...really want one.

I suspect the real reason for my sudden and deep infatuation is because of its sleek design, yes I am a sucker for anything slim and lightweight, my last phone (which sadly died a year after its purchase taking with it a lot of phonenumbers) was a testiment to that. So for that matter is the strange stirrings I get in my midsection everytime I see or touch a MacBook Air, but I digress.

I want the Kindle 2! The very recent hoorah that is surrounding it for its text to speech ability a bit of a crock and think that perhaps the Author's Guild has nothing to do with their time.

So in the spirit of giving and for those of you wanting to give me a belated Valentine's gift...yes I'm pulling the Valentine's card on you, do feel free to donate to the Lets give a Kindle to Blue fund...huh huh? yeah you love me, you really do...no really you do.
