Wednesday before I went "Dong de Islands" I got the wonderful opportunity to meet fellow blogger Lou. We had a whirlwind visit whereby I took them up to Maracas and introduced him and his son to Bake & Shark.
Its funny though and made me think, we would go out of our way to visit with foreign blog type people but would rarely make the effort of meeting the local ones we read all the time, funny that. Ah well

I don't know many local bloggers here in the boonies, but I have met one, which is pretty good. I've met several other Canadian bloggers, though. It's always cool to have a meeting in real life.
I've met a few local bloggers but I read tons more that I have never met and probably will never meet and Trinidad is tiny. It is cool to meet people in real life (well except when I'm having a bad period and then am glad for anonymity...see can't please people lol)
I honestly only know one other local blogger... and its because they outed themselves to me... case hey thought I already knew... I went to the same school as some others.. have probably spoken or interacted with in real life...
T&T is small yes but only when you know/have the information to make it small...
I don't really want to meet most other bloggers cause I still try to have some anonymity... even tho in personal profiles I sometimes list my blog... but how many ppl really check blogs?
foreigner may be once in a lifetime experiences/visits... Trinis are a dime a dozen... not that we arent unique... but the draw of another world aint really there
I am so glad we had the chance to meet - my regret is that we had so little time. Next time - and the will be a next time - we WILL spend more time together.
So true,
Girl Blue.
