Things went from bad to worse with me recently and so I retreated offline and buried myself in my books and seasons 3 and 4 of Dexter. I came across this scene tonight from Season 4 Episode 5 "Dirty Harry" and it seemed to perfectly sum my present emotional state up perfectly. As much as the Deborah Morgan character irks me and has irked me from the first season, the monologue between 2.10 - 2.41 is the best fit right now.
